Reasons for voting for Bo...

 

1. Bo has adopted the Boston Tea Party Political Platform. The Boston Tea Party supports reducing the size, scope and power of government at all levels and on all issues, and opposes increasing the size, scope and power of government at any level, for any purpose. If you're tired of County (among others) Government intruding into your life to the point of deciding for you the size, landscaping, windows, color of your new house or remodel and soon, what kind of toilet tissue you have to buy....

2. When Bo ran for State Senate, he investigated the Legislature and made many contacts that are still viable. When Bo ran for Sheriff, he attended and completed a Citizen's Sheriff's Academy, learning and understanding all rhe intracies of the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, and getting to have lunch occasionally with Joe. As County Party Chair, Bo was involved with the Clerk's office on many issues and served on a special Election Commission. Bo knows how the County Clerk's Office is structured and how it operates within the County Guidelines and Regulations. Bo has been interfacing with County and State Governments for many years and has the knowledge and experience to lead the County.

3. Bo is the only Candidate in the Commissioners Race , who has not only been elected, but Re-elected to his public position. Bo sits on the Board of Directors for the Left Hand Water District, a Local District Government with assets around $75 Million. Bo knows Water and Small District Government, and what it takes to satisfy his Constituency, having served for almost five years and having been re-elected this past May.

4. Bo serves on the all volunteer Board of Directors for a public access Television station, CCTV54, in Louisville. Their mission is to give the community a platform on which to express local views. Bo is also an Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 66 in Longmont. Helping turn boys into men is one of the most rewarding experiences you can imagine. Bo sits on several local area committee's, all working to make this a better community. Bo knows public service and what kind of a commitment it takes.

5. Bo has been CEO of an Environmental Consulting Company (originally an Environmental Construction Co.) for over 15 years and has done numerous environmental incvestigations on places in the county most people are not aware even exists. He has interfaced with governments all over Boulder county and beyond on environmental issues and sponsors a special website where Boulder county Environmental Issues can be accessed and citizens can get their environmental questions answered truthfully.
